Welcome here Beverly. (Is the right name, isn´t it?) We have no section for the introducing, people just step in here right away and say "Hello" in any Thread they want. :) I like it when people from other nations come here and visit us.

Maybe "dag" is a shortcout for something?? I don´t know. I don´t like cooking, i like eating much more :lol:

yes "Claire" is this Claire :lol:
And "dag" is the short form for "decagram" and a decagram means 10 grams. It's I think only used in Austria. I hope that'll help. Greetings to Brazil :)
